Ingredients :
Green peas 2 cups
Potato 1
medium size chopped capsicum 1 cup
medium size chopped cabbage 1 cup
medium size chopped cauliflower 1 cup
Tomatoes 4
Red chilli powder 2 spoons
Coriander powder 1 spoon
Cumin powder 1 spoon
Pav bhaji masala 2 spoons (Badshah or M D H masala)
Salt
butter 8 - 10 spoons
Garlic and green chilli paste 2 spoons
finely chopped onion 2 spoons
bread 4 slice

For Garnishing :

Stepwise Direction :
Add water to pressure cooker followed by vegetables with some water. Cook all vegetables. Drain excess water. peel skins of potatoes and tomatoes. mash all vegetables except tomatoes.
Heat frying pan on a medium temp. Add 2 spoons butter, garlic chilli paste and finely chopped onions. Fry it till brown in colour. Add all mashed vegetables, stir it. add some water. Also add red chilli powder, cumin and coriander powder, pav bhaji masala and salt. Stir it. Then add 4 spoons butter. keep the heat on medium low level. Grind tomatoes in mixer/grinder. Add tomato paste and stir it well. After 5 minutes add 4 spoon butter again stir it well.
Garnish bhaji with butter, shredded cheese, cilantro, onion, tomato and lemon juice.
Heat flat pan. add butter. heat bread in butter and fry it till crispy.
serv Hot!!

yummm.. Paav Bhaji is definitely all time favorite! just wanted to share a tip with you.. add beetroot juice for authentic color. It works beautifully!
